Vila Bélgica is located on the hill of Lomba, a very quiet and peaceful place, just 5 minutes
by car from the capital of Faial, Horta, and we have one of the most beautiful views of the island.
We are right in front of the island of Pico and its beautiful mountain, we can see the
island of São Jorge, and from our terrace you have a splendid view of the coastline of
Praia do Almoxarife, the windmills of Espalamaca, the city of Horta and its port.
There are many lovely walks you can take starting from our house and it is only a
30 minute walk to Horta (and downhill!). From the port you can take ferry trips to the other
islands in the Azores, frequently spotting dolphins on the trip across.
Your holiday accommodation includes a very nice continental breakfast, which can be eaten on
our breakfast terrace. We also offer dinner every other evening, pre-bookable, if required.
We are a Flemish couple from Antwerp/Belgium and we can welcome you in Dutch, English, French and Portuguese.
There is never a language problem at Vila Bélgica!
